The Walker channels the restrained utility of Korchmar's heritage backpacks in a new style created for the American Foundry Collection. Handcrafted in Naples, Florida from 100% U.S.-origin materials, it is made from full-grain, vegetable-tanned American cowhide selected for its natural character, durability and ability to develop a rich patina over time. Tanned in Chicago by Horween Leather Company using its Essex tannage, the leather gives the Walker a refined but durable character designed to move easily between the workday, commute and weekend. A roomy interior, practical front storage and laptop-minded organization preserve the familiar utility of the Lewis while giving this new backpack its own American Foundry identity.

Leather: Embrace the timeless beauty of our leather, designed to age gracefully and develop a rich patina, reflecting the heritage of our fine leather craftsmanship. To maintain its exquisite appearance, we recommend using a mild leather cream. For surface dirt, simply wipe with a soft, damp cloth.
Waxed Canvas: Gently remove visible dust or dirt with a soft scrub brush or damp sponge. Avoid harsh detergents. To preserve the vibrant finish and water-resistant properties, re-wax periodically with Martexin Wax.
Ballistic: Gently clean your ballistic nylon with a mild soap or detergent solution and warm water. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners to protect the fabric's integrity. Use a soft-bristled brush or a clean, soft cloth to gently wipe down the surface.
