For much of Korchmar's history, American manufacturing was simply how leather goods were made. As the domestic network of tanneries, mills, zipper makers and hardware suppliers disappeared, producing a truly American bag became increasingly difficult.
Over four years, Korchmar rebuilt the supply chain required to create a truly American-made collection — sourcing and verifying U.S.-origin leather, lining, zippers, hardware and other components, then handcrafting every style in our own Naples, Florida factory.
The result is a collection that brings Korchmar back to its roots: handcrafted in our own Naples, Florida factory and built from materials sourced across America.

Full-Grain American Leather
Full-grain, vegetable-tanned American cowhide selected for its natural character, strength and rich patina, tanned in Chicago by Horween Leather Company using its Essex tannage.
U.S.-Made Herringbone Lining
Woven in North Carolina from American-made yarns, our signature herringbone lining combines durability with recycled polyester made from post-consumer plastic bottles.
American Hardware
Zippers and hardware sourced and engineered around what American manufacturers could produce, requiring new solutions rather than imported shortcuts.
