For much of Korchmar's history, American manufacturing was simply how leather goods were made. As the domestic network of tanneries, mills, zipper makers and hardware suppliers disappeared, producing a truly American bag became increasingly difficult.
American Foundry began with a decision not to compromise the claim. Over four years, Korchmar rebuilt the supply chain around 100% U.S.-origin materials and American manufacturing, engineering every detail around what domestic suppliers could produce.
The result is a collection that brings Korchmar back to its roots: handcrafted in our own Naples, Florida factory and built from materials sourced across America.

Horween Essex Leather
Full-grain Essex leather from Horween Leather Company in Chicago, selected for its natural character, rich hand and patina that deepens beautifully with use.
U.S.-Made Herringbone Lining
Woven in North Carolina from American-made yarns, our signature herringbone lining combines durability with recycled polyester made from post-consumer plastic bottles.
American Hardware
Zippers and hardware sourced and engineered around what American manufacturers could produce, requiring new solutions rather than imported shortcuts.
